London Ontario Canada is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada on the Quebec City - Windsor Corridor with a metropolitan area population of about 447,286; the city proper has a population of about 351,267 (2004). It was settled in 1826 and incorporated as a city in 1855. The City of London and the surrounding area (roughly, the territory between Kitchener and Chatham) are collectively known as Western Ontario. London Ontario is approximately a 2-hour drive to Toronto. London is known as the "Forest City" due to its large areas of parkland and extensive tree cover. London is well known for it's Schools including the University of Western Ontario (UWO) and Fanshawe College. We are proud to say that London is the founding home of many successful business organizations such as Labatt, 3M, McDonalds Restaurant, London Life Insurance Company, and Taco Bell Restaurant to name a few.  The recent addition of the Covent Garden Market,   and the popular John Labatt Centre have also been a great enhancement of the downtown London environment. London Ontario Canada is definitely one BEAUTIFUL place to call home.
